PTC Windchill License Packages

Can anyone breakdown what the new license packages can or cannot do as far as BOM management? I am interested in what they call Core PLM in each of the packages as well. From the Basic admin guide it appears I can create WTParts but could not find reference to any BOM management, EBOM or MBOM.

It's different between Windchill 11 and Windchill 12. 

In 11 there is a "base" license that you need "IP Protection" and "eBOM" as add-ons to give you WTPart functionality (as in the ability to create standalone WTParts). 

In 12 there's a Windchill Base, Advanced and Premium option. 

Base + a mechanical design license gives you the option to create a wtPart only through auto-association but you won't have the option to create a new WTPart outright. 

Advanced is the first level where you can do BOMs with WTParts (same as base+ip protection+eBOM in Windchill 11). Premium adds more stuff on top of advanced.
