Pro/Engineer on a Clustered environment

All,

Is it possible to configure Pro/Engineer to use a specific node of a clustered environment? We have a clustered environment with two servers with multiple forground method servers and one server with two background method servers, all behind a load balancer. We are using three Pro/Engineer workstations to import a large amount of data into Windchill and would like to configure them to use the node that has less traffic on it. I have tried setting the Windchill url to the ip address of one of the nodes, but the upload and download actions will not work.

Thank You,

Paul,

You could set a host entry on the workstations, that would then bypass the load balancer and connect to a specific server. Edit the file

C:\windows\system32\hosts

Add a line like

Windchillurl.whatever.com 192.168.0.50

Set a different IP on each workstation
