Promotion Request - Mail Notification

Hi Guys,

When I created a promotion request I didn't get any mail notification but if I tried on the email page from quick links I could receive a mail.

Is there any configuration for this or related to the workflow issue?

@VladimirN Thanks for the replay,

I am currently using an OOTB for promotion requests instead of a custom workflow.
