Relationship Explorer gone in Windchill 11.0 M020 and getting removed in the future?

Anyone have details on why the Relationship Explorer was hidden in Windchill 11.0 M020 and planned to be removed in a future release?

 

Here is the note from the Help Center.

"As of Windchill 11.0 M020, the Relationship Explorer is disabled out-of-the-box by default. The feature will be removed in a future release of Windchill. To enable the Relationship Explorer, contact PTC Technical Support for instructions."

the complex relationship such as circle and imcomplete relationship make the Relationship Explorer not easy to working.

Hi,

Have anyone heard of any plans to replace the Releationship Explorer with some other report/tool?

Some users found this very useful for simple visualization/understanding of the structure.

My understanding was that it was being removed, as it had limitations, and didn't support any of the newer traceability apps, and focusing PTC development resources on other Windchill areas.

 

I think there was some talk about looking at PTC Navigate app, on the ThingWorx platform as some kind of possible replacment.

 

Post a product idea, for a replacement, and maybe Product management can offer some comments on it, and where they are at with this, of if it's on their radar still.
