Require an End Item be included in problem reports

Prior to a CPS update we had something in place that would not allow a person to hit submit now on a problem report unless an end item was in the affected end item section. We are now on 12.0.1.5 and this disappeared. The consultant that put this in place has left and did not document how he did this. Has anyone done this before? He have an alternate solution but it is not as nice as the original.

Hello Wayne,

I assume that you had a customization and it has not carried forward. Did you do Windchill update or upgrade ? What was your earlier version ?

It is easy to add that customization or make a new one.

we were on 12.0.1.2 and did a CSP05 update.

Hello,

To start with , if you have old environment backup where it was working , please compare <WT_Home>\codebase\config\actions with new one.

As a long term plan please maintain your changes in good repositories like SVN.

Can you attach a copies of your wt.properties file from before and after updated?

Could be a clue there.

I ran a compare between active and back up and see no differences.
