Shifting Default Upload Vault to automatic folder creation and validating content

As you can tell, doing some vault maintenance. This is my current setup. I want to shift this to a new storage volume and enable automatic folder creation which I believe is done by creating a new vault.

Is it possible to "change" the defaultuploadvault to a new one? Since there are no vaulting rules which tied to this vault, how is revaulting accomplished?

Second part is some weirdness I saw in this vault counts.  FVItem count is 90K but there is also MasteredOnReplicaitem count of 740K files. Source is this article:

Our system used to have a remote replica site but that was removed during a divestiture. I would think that this vault should be small as items are uploaded and moved to the master vaults. Any clean up steps needed here? What that heck is MasteredOnReplicaitem?

Closing this one out with some thing I learned, its important to keep up on system maintenance. I followed steps to reset replication which cleared up some items and followed https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS112459?source=search to initiate a forceSync. Default cache vault dropped to 0 not. I am less concerned about recreating to do automatic folder creation since this vault should be kept to zero. Its just after years of skipped attention, a divestiture and removal of a remote replicate server, I think things got backed up. All clear now and adding to my notes.

Google 'ptc MasteredOnReplicaitem', get several hits.  Sorry, that's not very helpful. Presumably, by default the original is the master.

Came across this article:

Looks like is cleared items in the REPLICATEDITEM Table but left items in the MASTEREDONREPLICAITEM table intact. I will run a revaulting job to see if that fixes things

The article above notes there is an SPR filed.

This shows how many cached files no longer linked to application data. Out of 748K, I have 106K from that query. Hmm. I wonder if this is left over garbage when we used to have a replica server that we shutdown long ago from a divestiture.
