Single Sign On with Active Directory

As part of upgrading to Windchill 10.2, I was hoping to move to Apache (right now we're using IIS with Windows Integrated Authorization). It looks like my stumbling block will be the lack of single sign on. I've found some older discussions on the topic, but was wondering if anyone had been successful in using SSO with AD for Windchill 10.2. I was looking at mod_auth_sspi. Has anyone tried it?
