I only received four replies and I have posted them below. I think we
will upgrade to 10.1 M010. Thanks to those replied.

R10.1 M010 is already available and 10.0 M040 is some time in August. If
you plan for ESI, R10.1 has many ootb features. 10 M040 is also projected
for those features but I dont see any valid justification for 10M040.

WC10.1 m10 hands down. Its only a point release so I doubt its terribly
buggy, plus there is a bunch of cool new stuff in 10.1

I am sure he meant 10.1 M010 – this is what I am being told as well.
However, I use just the basics, no customization and we don’t use
ProjectLink.

We are live on M020 Windchill 10.0 with a lot of patches. I recommend M040
for 10.0, or later, if you can wait for whatever is next. Go with the
latest M-build you possibly can.

If you are a Pro/E shop, be sure to check the compatibility matrix for your current Pro/E version and 10.1, I believe, WF4 is not support in 10.1. /p

Thank you for this info. PTC also informed us that Creo 2 is compatible
with PDMLink 10.1 but not Creo 1 or WF5.
