We are looking into creating/using WTparts....does anyone know of a way to automatically create them for all the data this is already in Windchill?

Since 10 if I remenber , there's a tool for mass creating WTparts linked to CADdocs ...

Have a look in the Intralink to Windchill migrator guide

You can also use some bulk loaders
