Windchill Workgroup Manager won't install on win 7

Hello! I'm having problems trying to install Windchill Workgroup Manager on a win7 64 machine. I tried the Troubleshooting Windchill Workgroup Manager Client Installation too without any luck

I got a error window saying that I'm trying to install on a unsupported OS (?!!) any ideas?

Set the below environment variable at system level, and try installing once again.

WWGM_ALLOW_TO_INSTALL = true

    Hi Julian - It might be best to contact PTC Technical Support to troubleshoot your problem with installing the Windchill Workgroup Manager client on Windows 7 64bit.

    I will add that the environment variable (WWGM_ALLOW_TO_INSTALL) mentioned in this thread is not supported by PTC R&D and should not be used.

      Check to see if Java 8 is installed this stopped it for us.

      Thank you! It was the latest version of Java causing the problem. I rolled it back to Version 7 Update 75 and it worked. Thanks again for the help.
