pdmlink slow table fill after scroll

We have always had a question about why the Windchill browser tables have a slow fill after scrolling up or down.

It is the same lag in commonspace or local workspace, online or offline.  If you scroll a couple of pages at a time you see a blank table and ...  wait for it ... the table fills and you can see where you are.  If you haven't scrolled enough you have to blindly scroll again.

Is this normal?
