Is there a way to restrict certain users from viewing "iteration
history"?

This use case is for shop floor users so that they can view only the
latest released version.

Via ACL?

Customization?

Thanks for your help.

Profile, add users to a group, group to a new profile, uncheck ability to see iteration history.

If you have appropriate access control, this is not an issue.

Sample existing data (Rev C being developed, not yet ready for use)
B.1 In Work
B.2 In Work
B.3 Released <<< production floor people should see this on a search, not Rev C
C.1 In Work
C.2 In Work <<< those involved in development should see this on a search

Access Control

- XXX group of users have Read to In Work and Released states

- YYY group of users have Read to Released state only
