Does changing a capture title result in a new QR code being generated?

Hello -- When we first adopted VEC, we were told that changing a capture title after publishing would result in a new QR code being generated for that capture. Recently, we have needed to change a few of our capture titles, but the original QR code still scans and loads the capture with the new capture name. Is a new QR code generated when a capture title changes?

We have more capture titles that require changes, but QR codes for these captures have been shared with our customers. I want to avoid changing a capture title if it would mean that the original QR code would no longer work.
