Vantage with Apple Magic Keyboard (5th gen iPad Pro)

Anybody utilizing an iPad Pro and the Magic Keyboard with the Vantage App and Expert Capture procedures?  I was viewing a procedure (started, not just preview) with the iPad and the physical keyboard could not be used for the serial number input.  After changing the the on-screen keyboard I was able to input a serial number.  The keyboard works fine with other apps such as MS Office or a web browser.  Thanks.
