Vuforia Studio

  • New Permission API
    • A new Permission API now supports public experiences. When asset permissions are configured appropriately, the Product widget and data loading via the Product API are available in public experiences. For more information about the new Permission API, see the API documentation in Swagger available on your Experience Service (https://<your_es>/ExperienceService/api-docs).
  • Product Widget Now Supported in Public Experiences
    • The Product widget is no longer restricted to private experiences. The newly available Permission API enables access control for all assets uploaded or created in the Experience Service via the Product API.
  • Support for ThingWorx 10.0
    • ThingWorx 10.0 is now supported.
  • macOS Support Update: Future Deprecation of Intel-based macOS Systems
    • Support for installing Vuforia Studio on Intel-based Mac machines is planned for deprecation in a future release. ARM-based Macs will remain supported. The specific release version in which Intel-based macOS support will be removed has not yet been determined.

Vuforia View

  • On-Prem Advanced Model Targets Now Supported on Android
  • New clearCredentials API for HoloLens 2
    • A new clearCredentials API is now available for Vuforia View on HoloLens 2. Calling this API clears the current user's credentials, requiring them to log in again to access private experiences. This can be useful for managing session security or resetting user access between sessions. For more information, see clearCredentials API for HoloLens 2.
