File Open not working in Creo 2.0

Hi All,
As of yesterday, trying to open a file in Creo 2.0 ends up with a black screen in a non-responding window. We're assuming that this has to do with a recent security update from our IT group but so far; they cannot tell us what has changed. Have any of you faced this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it or where to look?
