Assembly global parameter problem

hi all,

I am facing a problem please try to help me out.

I have a main assembly which have two sub assemblies. I have some parameters in main assembly, as per my main assembly parameter, sub assembly "A" and sub assembly "B" should update respectively. In short if i say, i require a global parameter type functionality. But as per my knowledge that we can do only in "LAYOUT" which i can not use in assembly. This is the restriction for me.

Please share me your valuable idea or provide me process if we can create global parameter in assembly.
