How to show component parameters in model tree?

The screen shot below comes from a PTC power point on how to pass Find Numbers (I.E. the item number in the BOM balloons to Windchill)
Notice that the findnumber parameter is a component parameter, and they are showing that parameter in the model tree.
I see no way to do this. Anyone know how????
