Living Hinge / Spinal Bend

We are in the need of creating a living hinge component and I remember
the spinal bend technique discussed here:

perhaps model as parts:



*grounded linkage of hinge


*dynamic portion of part


*hinge area itself.



Assemble parts together in as-molded and hinged conditions.



Create the "as molded" part via merging the 3 parts together from the assembly in the flat state.
