Question

Using multiple screens with Displaylink

Hi all,

I am using 2 additional screens on my laptop with Creo Elements Direct Modeling 19.

Both screens are connected on my Displaylink dock with usb 3.0.

Whenever I try to start Creo Elements, it starts up but freezes in the process.

When I disconnect the dock the program starts normally, and when I connect it again I can use it on all of the screens.

But when I then try to open a package or start a new drawing, it freezes again.

Does anyone have a solution or similar problem?

Thanks in advance.

Billie

Some laptops have dual video cards.  One for use without a docking station, and one that is used in conjunction with a docking station.  The dell 4600+ is one example of this type of setup.  It has a built in video card and a Nvidia card.

If you have this setup, and have an issue with the second video driver, it would explain this behavior.  Check your laptop configuration and update your video driver.
