How can I see the total quantity of a component in Creo view?

One method that I really like is to select a component in an assembly and then click "Select All Instances" in the ribbon. The total quantity of the component will be reported in the bottom right of the screen.

Go to Tools tab, select your top level assembly in the Model tab, then Generate BOM icon in the menu. Expand the lower data panel. You can select in the BOM on the bottom of the screen and highlight in the model.

I didn't have that option. Maybe a licensing issue. Seems silly to have to pay hundreds of dollars just to get a quantity

Using Find in Creo View lite(free), you can get quantity from the attributes table.
