There should be no connection between the color parameter and the fiber’s visible color in Creo Schematics. The ‘color’ parameter is used while auto-routing in Creo Parametric cabling. You should control the fiber color through layer.
Steps:
1 Create a layer and assign the color to that layer
2 Change the layer of the fibers
3 Check the option "Prefer color by layer" which is available under File > Options > Switches.
