Rankine Cycle

Thermodynamics is a bit rusty. I based the attached sheet on Valery's work http://communities.ptc.com/docs/DOC-2455

Hoping someone can validate/update as I used Valery's sheet to call in functions via the internet. I also attached the sheet in case of "no-internet" access (major rainstorm last night, lost internet but had file on HDD )

Perfect, Ruben!

I will send you my remarks.

Do you seen this animation http://communities.ptc.com/videos/1683?

I have forgot to insert in this animation a moving point of the cycle on the 3D temperature-entropy-pressure curve. We can see only the changing of parameters of water/steam and a pointer on unit's parts (steam generator, turbine, condenser and pump).

Let do it together!

Valery,

saw the video. Link to the file off of the video does not work http://twt.mpei.ac.ru/MCS/Worksheets/PTU/Rankine.xmcd

Thought I may have missed a function or two in the web-referenced file. Lots of good work, documentation (at least the version I saw was hard to follow. Amazing work done by you and Sevold Znamenskiy.

Looking forward to getting your remarks
