... activity going on making the forum any better?

There seems to be so much to do and no visible activity is noticeable

Or do we experience resignation ("lets settle with what we have even if its much worse than what we had") ?

It's almost a year since the unfortunate transition to lithium took place - let's light a candle as a sign of our grief.

We are 100% stuck with Lithium (for the foreseeable future) so you know the basic operation of the community is not going to change.

Other items Jamie Lee may be able to customize, you've probably given specific requests but it never hurts to give the request again. The squeaky wheel gets the grease...

Going to Lithium was a huge step backward and staying stuck at the current situation without any hope for improvements would be even worse.

And, no - I am sure not the squeaky wheel and  I'm also sick of trying to get the very same wheel greased over an over again without seeing any positive effect (other than promises). I'd rather have to accept that the machine is unrepairable broken and has to be changed.

Just was curious if @Jaime_Lee  is still around here as it seems that she wasn't (at least not visible) for about a month and  at that time I remember that she complained about not having a moderator at hand to help.

EDIT: Just noticed two posts from Jaime from June 1st.

    @Werner_E

Hi, I appreciate the sentiment.  The last month has been very busy.  I wish I could have spent more time visibly on the community.  I am excited that @PTCModerator  is back helping us to make sure your Community Manager doesn't let things important to the community fall through the cracks!

    I appreciate your patience.

Community (Lithium platform) specific projects that were completed in May (which required alot of testing, project calls...etc) are listed below:

    • Fix went in for wrong attachments issue
    • Content going over side rail fixed
    • Add the "in response to" functionality
    • Negotiated and tested an earlier release ahead of our scheduled update for the ability to add Mathcad Files
    • Did keyword analysis (with help of Champions) to determine best action for the automated remapping of Content for Creo and many other boards...over 100,000 threads. (Now clean up work undergoing with some help from some Champions and finally internal PTC Moderator help...:) Yay!)
    • Worked with internal and PTC User stakeholder to confirm work group process
    • This week (working on getting idea exchange in order--now that we have more alignment internally)
    • Side rail component for "unanswered threads" adjusted to show more of the question.

Next on list for UI Changes:

    • Terms of Service update (required by our compliance department)
    • -The "Quote" feature update (under investigation)
    • and presently working on "roll over" text to give hints of post before a community member has to click in to read the post.  We had this on my previous community I managed.  It was really helpful.
    • -"Too much whitespace"...this is under investigation and may require a big UI overhaul which I don't' know if my Lithium UI budget has room for right now.
    • Copy and Paste functionality is an update being tackled with the Lithium Roadmap.  I asked for customization and it wasn't available.

There are a lot of other backend projects going on as well (permanent forcing models, non-Lithium platform related "community" activities, and log in /sso configuration updates).  Sometimes community management wears lots of hats 🙂  I am glad serving this group of community members on the PTC Refresh Board is one of these "hats."
