Mathcad File Types: Fix is HERE!

Hello Jaime,

I've just checked and it looks like Stage is scheduled to be upgraded on May 3rd, with Production scheduled for the 10th. So that would fall within the 30 days that you mentioned, and we can test on Stage once it is upgraded to confirm if this is resolved with the fix in that version.

If you have any questions please let me know and I'll be happy to get them answered.

 

 

 

So, Mathcad Users, can you send me some mathcad files to jbunton@ptc.com you would like to see tested on stage so we know this BUG is really fixed?

      Would be good news if this bug finally could be fixed.

      I Attach an archive with some files to test with - they were sent in here in some threads and per PM to Toby already a few times - most collected from this thread:

      Keep in mind the the problem could also have to do with the local registry settings on the users machine. It looks like people who never had installed Mathcad had more luck attaching Mathcad files than the long-term users who already had installed older version of Mathcad. So if somebody who never had installed Mathcad has success in uploading this does not necessarily mean that we all will have success doing so.

      It never was clear how exactly, but the problem always looked like Lithium misinterpreted some local registry settings.

      Hope Lithium could find a solution.

        I received an update from Lithium that the change went through.  I tested the files under mathcad questions (live).  Please @Werner_E (or anyone) take a look and let me know if this is resolved and if I should close the ticket.

          OK, lets give it a test here with all the files at once.

           

          ... HEUREKA! Looks like the bug finally is fixed!

          Will give it a second try on a different system later but it looks quire good so far.

          P.S.: Its a little bit strange that the names of the seven attachments take up so much space below the post and its irritating that the clickable area is just that tiny symbol after the file name.
