Hi,

new menu structure under Creo Parametric item is unusable for me. I need to see all Creo Parametric discussions on single page sorted by date. Is it possible ? If not I give up using Community web.

@MartinHanak

This is great feedback.  Hi, I moved this post because I think it was redirected somehow during the auto-content move.  I will put up an announcement for the community soon about the best way search for content.  Now that remapping is pretty much done, the next item up is bring back to life the "Welcome and How Tos"...etc

I agree this has been a very long process.  You were added to this PTC Refresh Working Group later than the rest of the group here so I am not sure you had the opportunity to read all the discussions.  Between Product Managers and Champions it was decided that PTC Modeling and PTC Additional Questions had a mix of all things Creo that were very confusing.  People were trying to answer questions related to Creo Parametric when the customers really wanted "Creo Direct Elements...etc.

The group here also thought that it was important to organize the content by task.  This actually also follows suit with other software companies, and the use cases for our Creo Parametric Software is so vast.

You can search all of Creo Parametric by going to the "Creo Parametric" category and searching for your term.

I hope this helps.  Can you try it and let me know if you are getting what you are looking for?

Thank You,

Jaime Lee

I too find it tedious to look at all the various sub-categories instead of just scanning the top of the list of recent questions. While it may make it easier for people to search for answers, it makes it less likely for questions to be answered at all. Given the number of questions created that have previously been answered it's clear that simple classification is not a way to improve the experience. I have no interest in email notifications and managing subscriptions.

What was missing was separate areas for unrelated applications - Creo Parametric vs Creo Direct, for example.

What remains missing is a curated Wiki that can be used as a decent reference for questions that otherwise need significant amounts of background to bring a user up to speed.
