Here is the model I have created for your references
In this model there are two Gtol, once is created by using Edge and one more is created by Surface reference
The Edge reference Gtol is exactly perpendicular to the Edge, in the same way, we would want a perpendicularity icon when creating the Gtol by using surface reference.
