Creo Harness MFG Autofan issue

Creo harness MFG still stumps me as to why it chooses an really high bend radius when it comes to using autofan when flattening a harness in inches.  Using Creo 8.0,.11.0

Here is what I see in my graphic when i Autofan.   it looks wonderful for 2 seconds then for some strange reason it starts slapping large bend radii on to branches and flattens the small branches out!!!

Anyone have a workaround for this using autofan?
