As per this thread - same issue
Same scenario for me.I found the parameter is created in a start file, after removing the relation am not able delete the parameter.
Any solution??
Try Deleting the Parameter: Go to Tools > Parameters and try to delete the parameter again. If it is no longer used in the model, you should be able to delete it.
