Can't delete parameter

What could be the problem here? Creo says I cannot delete parameter, there is no windchill, no relations, no chid or parent for parameter, it is not referenced from annotation, nothing in the modell tree,  nothing. It seems to happen randomly and I cannot modify it either. The paramter is restricted by table though.

Using creo 6.0.6.0

It appears that the parameter was created using a Restriction Definition File. That is an external file used by Creo when the parameter was added to the model.

Look at the config options in session and look for this config option which defines the path to the definition file.

restricted_val_definition

If you do not see this option then the definition file may not be active in your session. It is also possible that this parameter is included in a start file.

Hi,

maybe the definition of ANYAGTAB parameter is "corrupted" somehow and the only solution is to send the file to PTC Support and ask them to repair it.

The problem really is that it happend at least 3 times yesterday with two different model, honestly I could just recreate the whole model, and it worked with the same restricted paramters.

The parameter could also have been created from a relation.

No matter how it was created, you need to go back to the 'source' in order to delete it.

I can delete the rest of the restricted parameters with no problem, this thing happens seemingly random. I know the source of the parameter is me, I created it.
