Units in dtl file

Hi all,

Below is the dtl file in one of our formats. The format is metric, yet the drawing units in the dtl file is set to inch. I cannot get rid of it, change it, or override it with another dtl file (I guess that's what a very red X means). Any suggestions? Do I need to create a new format from scratch?

Thanks,
Stefan

Hi Stefan

Yes you need to create a new format from scratch choosing a metric drawing
sheet. Then the units will be locked to mm. Once you choose the units on
creation of the format the units are locked to that format. This does not
mean that you cannot change the units in the drawing in which a format has
been inserted (ie you can have an imperial format in a drawing which is set
to metric) The format is all about what size paper you want to print on and
how you want to measure that.

Steve
