UI black background text error in CREO view 11.1

See the attached screenshot. 

 

I've reinstalled CREO view several times, checked the checksum, I really dont know what to do here. It's incredibly unreadable.

 

Is there somewhere i can try an older version of CREO view?

I would suggest contacting tech support and logging a case so this issue can be properly investigated.

This is not an issue we have seen before.

I dont think that's possible as I dont have a license. I'm not sure there's a way for people just trying to use CREO view to report issues.

Would you be able to share your system info and some trace logs?

To capture the logs you would need to:

  • set system environment variable PVIEW_PROC_TRACE=d:\ptc\pvtrace
  • Make sure above directory exists
