Hey PTC,
I am trying to use Creo Simulate or Creo Simulate Live on my home workstation. Unfortunately all functions of Creo Simulate Live and Creo Simulate are grayed out. I use the student version 7.0.1.0.
If I try to get a free test version I get an error that says "Userinformation cannot be valdiated"
Thank you for your help
Kind regards,
Arn

Hi,
Student license does not contains Creo Simulate and Creo Simulate Live license codes.
@Alex_Cazacu can confirm it.
Hello,
In order to access Creo Simulate and Creo Live Simulation you will need to purchase the Student Premium from our eStore, as the Student Free is not including these features. You can use the Simulate lite that is included, from Parametric.
Thanks,
Alex
Hey Alex,
thank you for the quick answer. Unfortunately, If I try to create a Lite Simulation it does not work either. All the buttons are grayed out. I found this answer which tells me to activate a "simulate lite" control button in the "Model setup". This "Model Setup" is grayed out, too.
Thanks for your help.
Hello,
The process to get a lite simulation is:
Open file (it doesn't work for assemblies) in Parametric
Go to application tab and click Simulate
select Lite in the pop up Model Setup window.
Thanks,
Alex
