Switch user interface language to german

All,

I did install the German version for Mathcad 15 M050.

Starting the application I can only choose the English language.

The German language is not present in the list to select in Tools>Preferences>Languages.

I guess you have to download german installation package from https://support.ptc.com/appserver/auth/it/esd/product.jsp?prodFamily=MCD page.

did you unistall 1st Mathcad 15.0 installation and then installed german Mathcad 15.0 ?

Did you chioose 'language during installation' to be German, or did you actually install a German language version of the application. There's a difference between the two...

Try installation again and see what you can choose during installation to find out. (No need to rerun the full installation, you can abort it before it actually starts to install.)

Hi,

I had the same problem in 2016. Thanks to M. Hanak's suggestion, everything went OK and M15 is also fine. See below: (instead of "culture:en-US", you should write: "culture:de-GE"

Ubuntu may ask if you want to update or add components to your current default language when you first open the dialog. Click Install to go ahead and install the additional components, or you can click Remind Me Later to wait as these will be installed automatically when you add a new language.
