Hi all,

I have a very basic question regarding how to solve symbolic expressions. I am using the 'Given' and 'Find' commands to solve. I want to be able to solve the exprssion in terms of its simplest representation. Please see the included spreadsheet / image of what I am trying to accomplish. Basically, I am trying to solve in terms of 1/sC1, R1, 1/sC2, and R2.

Thanks!

Try the above "Given" instead of "=" sign write ": =" (Shift+:).

You probably don't need to use the given / find commands for this,

ignoring the items highlighted in red (just means that the numeric system doesn't have a value for it) see the attached.

Hope this helps

Yes, of course, but for more complex cases, see the attached
