Question

plotting text on 2-D graphs

In ancient times, there were some routines/functions on the old collab that allowed plotting of general text on plots by creating appropriate x-y vectors (or arrays) which plotted as the desired text. I searched my collection of various routines, but  didn't find any. If anyone has Mathcad 11 versions of these, I would appreciate their posting.

Thanks,

Lou

Lou, you're looking for 'Creating amazing images':

Mona has the version for Mathcad 14 at

https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/Creating-Amazing-Images-with-Mathcad-14/td-p/441375

Searching to see if there's a mathcad 11 (or less) version around...

Found it. 11 MB. See attachment. Unzip, then install.

Success!

Luc

Thanks Luc.I remember this package. I recall this as being able to do a wide range of things with various 3D graphs, but not that it handled text.. I'll install and give it a try.

What I remembered are some routines that were part of a user-created library of mathcad 11 programs that would create text as a plot. They were possibly part of Tom G's many great posts, but it could have been posted by someone else.
