Creating home made images for toolbars inside IsoDraw

Hello,

 

Does anyone know how you can create nice images which I can use for my home made toolbars inside IsoDraw, and which software or drawing package is a helpfull tool for this? Besides I am curious to find out where the standard images are hided inside IsoDraw.

Toolbar butons are 20 pixel X 20 pixel jpgs, We made our custom buttons using Adobe Ill. Kinda hard to get to much detail in that space though.
