We recently upgraded to ILM11.2 and using oracle db as repository.
Due to several troubles with source files under linux OS[1] we tried to configure and use GIT integration. I'm not really familiar with GIT and so I have a few questions regarding the GIT integration.
- Is it possible to manage source code with the GIT integration?
- if "YES" is it possible to use the ILM client to manage (check out/in, checkpoint) the source files?
- if "YES" is there a proper description how2use the GIT integration with the ILM client?
- Where are the data stored for this source files?
Is it possible to manage the linux files also in our oracle db?
- How could I create a project (configuration management) with linux files using the GIT integration?

- destroyed attributes on linux files. Means the attributes on the files are not the same after check in and out
- big repositories (many files with small content) are difficult to create with SourceIntegrity because there are many aborts during creating the projects content.
