Query: include future values (users) when selecting users by Group

Integrity 10.6.

Anyone know if there's a current solution or RFC for the following query challenge?

In a query, when adding Created by field, I can filter the Created by field by Group, then select Users from the filtered Created by list......the query ends up being "hard-coded" with Users.  I want to either select Groups for Created by -or- "include future values" (as is possible in charts) .

Anyone?
