The Requirement Analyst ViewSet has many possible views that you can use. I'll try to address some of them here:

Normal item edits: If the relationship is valid, you can drag an item (for instance, from a query result set in which the item is an entry) into the relationship of a view of an item.

In the context of documents, you can drag content directly from one item to another, possibly while holding down the Alt (to create a trace) or Ctrl (to copy as a subsection at the target location) keys. Generally, the appropriate trace relationship fields will be filled in by the drag and drop action.
