When can we expect the new WebUI? New Reference Model? What about what's new for 12.0?

Dear PTC,

 

would it be possible to provide some transparency in your upcoming release schedule?

- What is the current rough expected timeline for the new UI?

- What about your new data reference model? Any chance to provide some information to customers BEFORE releasing the new UI?

- Why is it so difficult for ILM to provide and deliver the same quality standards as other PTC tools: why do we have to ask specifically for the 12.0 What's new presentation when other tools (e.g. Modeler) are getting it automatically (see What's New in Integrity Modeler 8.5)?

 

Our expectation (and the one from our users):

As a customer we would expect more upcoming information for significant major releases of an enterprise product.

    Hello,

                   The New Web UI is planned for a November 2018 release. The Reference Model will be available for customers between end of September and mid October as a preview. It would be released alongside the New Web UI.

    Regarding the What's New for 12.0, it is now posted on the community site.

    Hello,

                 Some additional details -

    • Integrity Lifecycle Manager 12.0 has been released with significant infrastructure modernization as well as functional improvements.
    • A new Thingworx-based application, code name - Connected Requirements is planned for release in November.  This product will provide a new User Experience for Requirements Collaboration such as web-based Authoring, Reviewing and Commenting on requirements that are managed in Integrity Lifecycle Manager.
    • Licensing & pricing details for Connected Requirements are being worked and will be shared by PTC as the Connected Requirements application is launched.
