Configuration remote things, remote property in Thingworx and tags in kepware

How many tags can be configured on a kepware instance ?
How many kepware tags can I connect to Thingworx remote properties (using a single kepware instance) ?
Suppose I have X tags (with X > 8000).
How many things do I need to create and how many remote properties do I need to plug into each thing to have a balanced and performant system ?

There are no limit for possible remote properties from Kepware.

However, too many remote properties within 1 remote thing may lead to performance issue, and it depends on server resource, workload of remote thing etc. So you need find the proper max number through testing.

 

besides, from Kepwra6.12, you can configure the max number of remote things to connect with Kepware. Before 6.12, max to 500 remote things are supported on default. This limit is configured on Kepware side as below.
