Data export widget does not like nested infotables

I've noticed that the data export widget outputs the parent infotable when I bind it to a nested infotable.  Is the data export widget only meant to work with non-nested infotables?

    I wrote a separate service that outputs a non-nested infotable.

    Probably would be my answer based on your observation.

    One thing you could do is just use services to generate your own CSV file into a file repository which you can then download.
