How could a chart be imported and used in thingworx?

It will require you to package up your custom chart/widget and then have it imported into ThingWorx, you can check your above thread to reference the documentation on how you can do this as it does include step by steps process on importing the custom widgets, built using ThingWorx Extension, to be imported in ThingWorx.
