How to delete Alert History for a particular thing

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to delete Alert History for a particular Thing. I can see that there is (are) service(s) like "PurgeAlertHistory" in AlertFunction Resource, but it does not take Thingname as input, and deletes the Alert History for all the Things.

If there is no service available, any inputs to create a custom service for this would also be appreciated

There is no API for purgingAlertHistory for a Thing.
