Hello Om,

Thank you for response.

As mentioned in document , we have to go with Azure SQL Managed instance to upgrade from MSSQL to AZure SQL. But We have selected Azure SQL single instance option so we will go with general thingworx migration process like import the existing entries and data after connecting to Azure SQL.

Regards,

Latha

Hello Om,

Migrated from Thingworx 8.5.1 MSSQL to Thingworx 8.5.1 Azure SQL successfully. Observed License file name is "ignored_license_capability_response" but License subsystem is showing that License expires in 726days. Imported all the entities and data into thingworx successfully. Do we need to generate the license key again?

I have opened support case: 15742125

Hello @vi1

I am not sure how come even after license_capability_response.bin get ignored it is still showing 726 days to expire license. Because it is expected to have successful_license_capability_response.bin for valid license. As you have already opened a support case with us, TSE will definetly help you to troubleshoot the issue.
