Unable to create widget layout. Please contact your widget developer

Hello,

I have created the mashup and I can view mashup with the widgets that previously have been created, but when try to edit, it shows me this error "Unable to create widget layout. Please contact your widget developer" at the top and also not able to see the widgets that I have created. 

How to resolve the issue? I also have attached the screenshot of thingworx composer.

Hi @mnaeem.

 

For the "Security context stack..." error please refer to this article.

 

For your first question, I think there is an easy fix for this, but I can't recall it off the top of my head.  I am researching and will post the solution here once I find it.

could this at all be a licensing issue?

In application log I am getting this error as well.

 

----> Security context stack is growing large : current size = [depth: 36]

Thank you for answering the security context question.

For the second question I had found a post with the same subject, but I don't have the access to that.

Hi @mnaeem.

 

Apologies for the delay--I lost sight of this post.  In regard to the 2nd question for which you needed an answer, you should be able to select the Explorer tab (I'm running 8.5.x and can't recall if it changed) to select the Mashup before making edits to the widgets.
