Hi,
Does ThingWorx Foundation 9.2 installed in windows support HA clustering? I see that in the help document (https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/ThingWorxHighAvailability/OverviewOfThingworxHighAvailability.html#wwID0EBQX5B) the architecture diagram has the TW Foundation supoprted but why does the release matrix say that the TW Foundation HA with windows is not supported?
Thanks in Advance,
SV.

Hi svisveswaraiya,
Please refer to this system requirements matrix for 9.2. The information you need is in the section under Operating Systems. ThingWorx supports RHEL 8.2, and Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04. There is a footnote advising that Windows is not supported. Therefore, the operating systems supported for clustering are RHEL 8.2, Ubuntu 18.04, and Ubuntu 20.04.
Clustering is available for ThingWorx 9.1 and 9.2.
Regards.

Hi @svisveswaraiya.
The information you found is correct--Windows is not supported for clustering. It's my understanding that our engineering teams are working on it so hopefully it will be supported for future releases of ThingWorx.

Hi @slangley
The TW HA is not available for other version of ThingWorx also? And Is it not available only for Windows or for any other operating system also?
Thanks,
SV.

Hi Sharon,
We have done Thingworx foundation HA setup on Windows (on both AWS and Azure). However its Thingworx 9.0.7 with Zookeeper, Ignite and Postgres RDS Database service. I am not why it says not supported for higher versions of Thingworx. Thanks, Swapnil
Hi @Swapnil4.
Even though you may be able to get an unsupported configuration to work, if it's not designated as being supported, it means that we did not test on that release. Without being tested, we would not be able to provide support should issues be encountered.
