Using Flexibility

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.2 and Datecode with CPS 11.2.1.12

On one set of Creo is mounted another set with flexibility to use variants (2 options).
When we check-in in Windchill using a variant it archives the 2 options duplicating the Assembly.
How can we make it archive the chosen flexibility option without duplicating the assembly?

    Have you looked at this 

    Visualization > Dynamic Structure > Display representations from image associated EPM documents to Yes
