Hello all Windchill friends.

Question: What does mean Out of the box in relation to Windchill?

Have no idea what it can be. Is it expression for some aplication/funcionality on background?

Thanks for answer.

It's not just the default state after the install, but everything else you do after which is a supported method by PTC to configure your product. Whenever you do customisations (code) or use any third party tool which is modifying the default functionalities of Windchill, those areas will no longer be out of the box.

Hi

just meaning that it is a standard feature of Windchill (out of the box,   or out of the zip files since there's no more box with CD delivered ....)

without Code cutomization..    (just parameters or preferences to ajust)

Let´s say it in my own primitive language:

OOTB = default state of windchill (and all it´s functionality) immediately after installation?
